Angela Ardisson has been creating and designing since 1987. At the turn of the Millenium, she opens her studio ArtPlayFactory and starts collaborating with international students, with whom she shares projects and workshops. Because of her sensitivity towards matter as an essential resource for turning a project into a design creation, Angela has experimented with wood, paper, resin, fiberglass, plastic polymers and various metals. The latters became the key factors of the most important phase of her journey. Her first iron and brass creations date back to 1995.
Organic oxidations and all the outcomes on metal surfaces, such as drawings and endless chromatic nuances, fascinate the artist and become a distinctive feature of her projects, a signature.
The love for light, including shades and reflections, is the leitmotiv of Angela Ardisson’s work.
ArtPlayFactory creates lamps and light installations, furniture and monolithic metal covering for walls and floors, along with custom projects for clients all over the world.
